Student Council
The institution has a student council. The Student Council consists of Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Cultural Coordinators, Sports & Games Coordinators and Class Representatives.
The Principal addresses the student community and explains the roles and responsibilities of the student council. The Principal describes the behavioural qualities expected of Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Cultural Coordinators, Sports & Games Coordinators and Class Representatives. Then the election is conducted in a democratic manner by the Principal. The elected members of the student council take oath during the installation ceremony.
Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Cultural Coordinators, Sports & Games Coordinators and Class Representatives work in close liaison with the Principal and the staff.
The members of Student Council take up the organisation of various celebrations / functions like Food Mela, Women’s Day, Teachers Day, Cultural Festival FIESTA, Annual Sports Meet, etc. in the college under the leadership of the respective staff in-charge of various committees.
The Student Council encourages the involvement of student-teachers in all curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
The student council conducts a special assembly on Mondays under the guidance of respective head of the department.
